Wake up at the same time every day. Yes sleeping in feels GREAT, but studies have shown that it's not worth messing up your routine and this is why Mondays can seem so hard to wake up to. If you slept in until 8a on Saturday and Sunday, you are going to have a hard time waking up at 6a on Monday. Welcome to a case of the Mondays.
Give yourself quiet time to wake up, don't jump right into social media or the news. Quiet time allows your brain to focus and center.
Eat breakfast so that you are giving your body energy to start the day off well.
Stretching or 5 mins of yoga in the morning helps your body wake up and gets muscles ready for the day.
You can plan your day with a clear mind that isn't overwhelmed by stress.
Then hopefully, as the shit starts hitting the fan, you at least had a few minutes of peace and calm.
